With global and national privacy laws now becoming more prominent, GDPR, CCPA, and other US State Privacy Laws are now being enacted to protect citizens and residents from data breaches and other private data exposures. As regulated data crosses boundaries with AI applications and workflows, so does the need to ensure that the privacy rights of individuals are maintained no matter where the private data resides. SEI conducts data classification assessments and data flow maps to ensure that any PII data that enters into the AI ecosystem is kept private or de-identified.
